SFI announce first to market driver assistant device - Foresight™-I for all cars

SFI’s technology leadership in pattern recognition demonstrates the promise of pattern recognition technology and positions the company for growth in automobile industry and beyond

Suzhou, China (September 7, 2011) – SFI, a worldwide leader in pattern recognition solutions, today announced industry first driver assistant - Foresight™-I which is capable of early warning of collision is powered by the SFI 3400 single-chip solution. Bird’s eye capability, drunk driving warning, fatigue driving warning, special object capturing and incoming high beam distance measurement, are among extra features supported by Foresight™-I.   Foresight™-I utilized SFI proprietary image enhancement, segmentation, and analytics of moving objects technology.

China automobile industry has recently launched a series of initiatives to speed up the mass production of intelligent devices and the process of commercialization, with an emphasis on a centralized procurement of pattern recognition device. This is intended to boost the sales of smart car in China automobile market and support faster deployment of the standard throughout the country. SFI will partner with China automaker and selected automobile OEMs to complete a variety of pre-launch tests to ensure the smooth deployment of the latest devices.
